Accreditation
Clarion Seminary and School of Ministry offers a wide range of ecclesiastical and theological studies and in accordance with the laws of Oklahoma and Texas respectively, grants multi-level diplomas and/or degrees from the Associate through the Doctoral levels. Since the study programs offered by CSSM are exclusively religious by nature, we are not accredited by the United States Department of Education. Instead, CSSM is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission, International (ACI), the largest non-governmental accrediting agency in the world.
Accreditation is primarily designed to:
- certify that an institution has met the established standards of excellence;
- assist prospective students in identifying reputable institutions which offer degree programs that will meet their needs and goals;
- allow institutions to evaluate the acceptability of transfer credits into their own curricula programs.
Disclosure Policy
Credits, diplomas and degrees earned from Clarion Seminary and School of Ministry and similar Bible Colleges or training institutions accredited by the Accrediting Commission, International (ACI), do not automatically qualify the holder for teaching certification nor do they qualify them to participate in professional licensing examinations. Any person interested in obtaining a teaching certificate or practicing a regulated profession should contact the appropriate regulatory agency in the field of his interest.
